Anime Cute Tsundere Girl

Welcome to Chapter 1 of the Female Anime Nerd Guide for Male Anime Newbies/Non-Anime Loving Boyfriends. (Really need to figure out a shorter title, LOL.) This chapter focuses on when the female anime nerd has a crush on you or someone else. I will walk you through the four main types of dere. Each one has a particular personality and way of showing their affection. Most anime nerds are the Dandere type when they have a crush, but I'm going to walk you through the others just to be safe.

Notice: I'm writing this as a female anime nerd myself. I for one am a Dandere, but I have friends of the other categories and in the generation of the LGBT community (no hate. I have many friends a part of it and I fully support it). I have witnessed some of these first hand. Most female anime crazy nerds will try to imitate the flirting/stalking style of their favorite anime or video game characters but not all, so don't go assuming every girl likes you. Anyway let's get on to it.

Cute

These girls tend to be the biggest fans of characters such as Aisaka Taiga, Toosaka Rin, Maki Nishikino, Haruhi Suzumiya, etc. You can spot a Tsundere from anywhere. A tsundere girl will often tell you to go away or leave her alone, but then at the same time try to always be near you. She will act mean towards you, call you names, and overall act like she hates you. Even though she is mean to you she will get awkward when someone brings up the topic of any relationship or love in general.

Tsundere Anime Girl Attitude

The best way to deal with a Tsundere is to try to be nice to her and don't seem so offended by what she says. If she knows that she actually hurt you then she will hate herself and never live down what she has done. This will make things awkward between y'all and that is never good.

These girls tend to be the biggest fans of characters such as Yuno Gasai and Ayano Aishi. The main detail that is distinct about a Yandere is that instead of awkwardly standing next to their crush or trying to talk to them, these girls will watch from afar and become what we like to call stalkers. Now for those of you who know anything about Yanderes you know that a Yandere is willing to commit murder for their senpai. While this may be true, us girls in real life, no matter how anime crazy we are, we won't go that far. The most a Yandere in real life is cyber bullying or leaving harmful notes to the rival chans until they no longer feel confident enough to purse their senpai.

The best way to deal with a Yandere is try to notice her. All a Yandere wants is for you to notice her. Try actually talking to her and get her to stop any bullying she is doing.

OK, now I can't tell you much about the Kuudere because I don't have as much experience with them, but I will tell you what I can.

These girls tend to be fans of characters such as angel (angel beats), Rei Ayanami, Mei Misaki, And Homura Akemi. A Kuudere is the type of girl who makes herself seem emotionless to everyone around her. She tends to not talk to anyone or do anything to make her stand out. When she likes you she will talk to you like a normal person and show emotion towards you.

These girls tend to be fans of characters such as Umi Sonoda, Nagisa Furukawa, and Hinata Hyuga. A Dandere tends to come off shy and awkward. They won't speak to you but rather silently whisper your name when you are near. These girls will blush at the mention of your name, and any little romantic comment or action from you will make them faint. These girls tend to be the kindest and best girlfriends.

Types Of Anime Girlfriends

The best way to deal with these girls is be a stupid oblivious baka. I mean...it worked for Naruto. He ended up marrying the girl.

Anyway that's it for Chapter 1; I hope you guys tune in for chapter 2: The First Date. Also I plan on writing something called How to Seem Normal When You Really Aren't. Anyway, guys, thanks for reading.

Tsundere is a term for a character who acts rude, cold, and hostile towards their love interest in order to conceal their warm and caring feelings. [1][2]

They Are Though

Tsundere was originally a term to describe a character with a harsh exterior who reveals a softer side as the story progressed. As the trope became more popular and clichéd, it became oversimplified in it's usage, being associated with any character who alternates between a harsh side and a soft side at the press of a button, even without any sort of character development. These two eras of tsundere characters are differentiated as Classic Tsundere and Modern Tsundere, respectively.

Tsundere characters are characters who pretend not to be interested in someone, even though their liking is very obvious. They will do things for their love interest, such as making them lunch or buying them stuff, but will insist that they don't like them and make up cheap excuses to try and save face. [3]

Female

Tsundere characters are not honest with themselves, or at the very least, will refuse to be honest with others so as to not damage their pride.

Tsundere characters refuse to hear what others have to say. They say hmph! or tch! and turn away, but they will eventually turn back, out of love for the other person.

Tsundere characters are very prideful, carrying themselves with a holier than thou attitude at all times. A tsundere might act like this because they come from a legitimate place of power, such as being a part of a rich family or being a part of the student council, but many of them do not have a good reason for their ego.

From a psychological standpoint, a tsundere character's behavior can be considered an example of splitting, a coping mechanism in which someone idealizes and undervalues others.

A tsundere character is not a character who plays hard to get. Characters who act like that deliberately choose not to get with their love interest until they know for sure that they truly love them, whereas a tsundere character's denial is about hiding their already existing feelings to protect their pride.

Tsundere is a similar term to himedere, oujidere and kamidere, since they are all quite arrogant. However, himedere, oujidere and kamidere characters are much more arrogant than tsundere characters, wanting to be treated like princesses, princes and gods, respectively. Tsundere characters are more defensive than these more arrogant characters as well, being unable to brush off comments that they take offense to like they could.

Tsundere is a close descriptor to hinedere, since they are both quite arrogant. However, hinedere characters are less short-tempered and more arrogant than tsundere characters, not to mention more cynical. Hinedere characters want to be the best at everything, while tsundere characters just want to look good in front of people they care about.

Tsundere is compared to bokodere, since they both act aggressively towards their love interest. However, bokodere characters are much more shy than tsundere characters, only becoming aggressive when they feel embarrassed. Bokodere is considered to be a combination of tsundere and dandere.

Tsundere is alike to thugdere, since they both act aggressively towards their love interest. However, thugdere characters are much more meaner than tsundere characters, genuinely bullying their love interest in order to keep their feelings hidden. They won't just hurt their love interest, either, usually having a reputation as a bully or a delinquent among all of their peers.

Kiredere is another dere type that can be considered a variation of tsundere, with kiredere characters having an excess of both the tsun and dere sides of a tsundere, making them care deeply for their love interest, but exerting it in a very harsh way by trying to make their love interest improve themselves.
