Sloths have come to Jamaa and they are member :( and cost the same amount as pigs (5 diamonds) 3/5 they are cute but when they are just standing there they are lopsided. - Pet hummingbirds are back in jamaa, 3/5 they are so cute but members got a new pet last week NON MEMBERS NEED MORE PETS PLEASE! - You can buy the princess outfit from the diamond shop (eh it is members only) 0/5 we didnt need it anyway. - Jamaalidays in July! I am really excited because AJHQ are letting ppl get jamaaliday stuff half way through the year lol 5/5!!!! - Player icons in your den!! Me and my friends found that out one week early and throught it was a glitch. Memberships are a fun feature to have on Animal Jam! There are lots of game features that are available to members that aren't available to nonmembers.
When someone pays for a membership, they own that membership! When that membership is applied to an account, the person that bought the membership now owns your account. You may argue that the jammer who created the account owns the account, but then how would parents change their parent account email? You need a membership to prove your ownership of an account.
That doesn't mean they will do anything bad with it! Lots of very nice people give membership codes away. But just as many not-so-well-meaning people give them away as well. Do you know of well known jammers who have had their accounts removed from their parent account or stolen from them? That's because they accepted a membership from another player.
