They are both two protagonists dinosaurs heroes from underrated children's movies, who trekked across new lands to find a new home, they both confronted massive predators and rival leaders to become leaders of their herds and win the hearts of the female dinosaurs they love. O Boomstikck: Being the offspring of the mighty herd leader, Bulldust, Patchi dreamed that he would one day be just like his day. Though he was often bullied by his other siblings, especially his annoying older brother Scowler. So glad I’m an only child.
O Wiz: No sooner had Patchi hatched from his eggshell, a pack of thieving Troodons tore through the nesting ground, and one attempted to snatch him away for food.

O Boomstick: Too bad the bird is so freaking annoying, he’s such a blowhard. Soon Patchi and his herd began to trek south for the winter, hoping he would cross paths with Juniper whose herd was also heading the same direction.

O Boomstick: Even in prehistoric times, the tragic backstory of a hero still exists. In the aftermath of the fire, they found no sign of the rest of their family, and began to fear the worst. But their luck turns around when they come across Major, the herd’s second in command, now leading the herd. Much to Patchi's delight, it had merged with Juniper's herd, since they lost a lot of their members to the fire and the Gorgosaurus.
O Wiz: Throughout the migration, he and Scowler compete for Juniper's attention, much to both her and her mother's annoyance. Typical sibling rivalry, I guess.
O Boomstick: Later on in the migration, the same pack of Gorgosaurus attacked the herd, causing Patchi, Scowler, and Juniper to fall into a raging river during the chaos. Although they all survived and washed up on the coast with Juniper sustaining a small injury to her leg, they were lost and miles away from their herd.

O Wiz: Fortunately, they encountered a herd of Edmontosaurus and began to follow them hoping they would lead them back to their herd. But Juniper's injuries began to slow her down and decided to Patchi stays to help her while Scowler left them behind.
O Boomstick: Although it took them all day, and encountered hungry crabs and a sleeping Gorgosaurus, the duo managed to survive on their own and make it to their winter sanctuary, where they reunite with their herd and Scowler.
O Wiz: Patchi may not have been full grown at that time, but he sure had what it took to make his late father proud.

O Wiz: As a Pachyrhinosaurus, Patchi was estimated to be about 26 ft long, stood about 7 to10 feet tall and weighed about as much as 4 to 5 tons. It was believed that they could run at speeds as fast as 24 miles an hour, that as fast a moose.
O Boomstick: From the shape of their heads, it was thought that they were herbivorous and possessed strong cheek teeth to help them chew tough, fibrous plants, just like that of a rhino. As speaking of heads, instead of horns, their skulls possessed massive, flattened thingamajigs called a bosses
O Wiz: A is the thick, helmet-like growth at the base of certain herbivorus animal’s heads, like a cape buffalo. As for Patchi and other Pachyrhinosauruses, a large boss covered over the nose and a smaller one over the eyes. A prominent pair of horns grew from the frill and extended upwards. The skull also had several smaller horns or ornaments that varied between individuals and between species.

O Boomstick: These bosses were mainly used for fighting during mating season and fending off predators. Years later and now a full-grown adult, Patchi was now old enough to compete for leadership of the herd and courtship rights if you know what I mean. He was challenged by head honcho Major, but Scowler steps in and a fight ensues, with the latter winning. Scowler became the new leader of the herd and chooses Juniper as his mate, much to Patchi's dismay.
O Wiz: But just because he won the contest didn’t mean had what it took to be a great leader. This was further demonstrated when during the herd next migration Scowler recklessly leads the herd through a frozen lake. Realizing that they're crossing a deathtrap, Patchi quickly leads the herd off the lake before anyone was killed.
O Boomstick: But this didn’t sit well with Scowler, who though Patchi was trying to steal the herd from him. Tired of his brother’s stubbornness, Patchi challenges him to a fight.

O Wiz: Battles when Pachyrhinosauruses were believe to be similar to that of other large herbivores like moose, bison, and rhinos, hints the name. Males would use their bosses as battering rams to knock their opponents off their feet to show their physical dominances.
O Boomstick: Although he fought hard and his best, it ended with Patchi being defeated and abandoned by Scowler. Hey, he gave it his best shot.
O Wiz: Heartbroken and Beaten, Patchi was almost willing to lets some scavengers eat him alive. However, the sight of a butterfly reminded him of where he met Juniper, along with some encouraging words from Alex of his father, motivated Patchi to get back up and return to the herd a new man, or dinosaur.

O Boomstick: Even as a hatching, Patchi had an unbreakable will to survive, no matter obstacles stood in his way, he’d use his wits and courage to find his way around them.
O Wiz: As an adult, he was strong enough to knock down small trees with is head and told his own in a fight with his older brother, despite his smaller size.
O Boomstick: Shortly after arriving, the Gorgosaurus attacked the herd again, this time targeting Scowler. Not willing to lose another family member to the savage carnivores, Patchi led the rest of the herd to fight back with new found confidence.

O Boomstick: He’s also pretty clever too, like how he was able to lead his herd to safety after Scowler foolishly led them onto a half frozen lake. Is there anything that guy got right as a herd leader?
O Wiz: Probably not. After a long and brutal fight, it ended with the head Gorgosaurus breaking his left arm from the hole in Patchi’s head and losing some teeth, forcing him and his pack to retreat.
O Boomstick: Grateful and apologetic, Scowler stepped down as leader of the herd and accepted Patchi as their rightful ruler and champion, who also chose Juniper as his mate, and the two later settled down to start a family of their own. He got the title and he got the girl, I would call that a win.
